The 2020 draft of the Central Canada Hockey League has come again gone and the Pembroke Lumber Kings are happy with who they’ve selected. Owner and Head Coach Alex Armstrong says his organization was able to pick up a local player in the first round.
Gazquez is a 15-year-old centreman from Pembroke who plays for the Ottawa Valley Titans. This season he registered 21 points in 28 games for the Titans. Also drafted by the Lumber Kings is 15-year-old Emmitt Robillard from the Upper Ottawa Valley Aces, 14 year-old Isaac Holt from the Upper Ottawa Valley Aces and 15-year-old Travis St. Amour also from the Aces.
