Police are looking for a suspect involved in a theft from a store in downtown Pembroke. Yesterday afternoon (Feb. 5th), Pick-it-Fence put out a call for help on social media to see if anyone recognized an individual who stole from them. The business says several hundred dollars in merchandise was taken. At the time of this post a picture of the individual has been shared over 1,200 times on Facebook.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP was notified of the theft yesterday and say the person of interest was allegedly downtown today (Feb. 6th), however officers were unable to locate them. Police believe the person of interest is local and hope to have the identity of the individual soon.
