It’s a time of year most of us look forward to, but for some families, the holiday season is time of stress. There are parents in our community who have no idea how they’re going to buy gifts for their children. The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is once again collecting gift items for youth in our community who may not otherwise have something under the tree this Christmas.
That’s constable Shawn Peever. He says you can find Angel Trees at the Petawawa Library, Petawawa municipal office, Pembroke City Hall and library, as well as the Laurentian Valley Township Office. Peever says all toys should be returned, with their angel to each location for distribution. This is the 23rd year for the annual Angel Tree program.
