Annual Car Show kicks off Saturday morning in Renfrew

The 14th annual Car Show and Swap Meet for Dad takes over the Renfrew Fair Grounds tomorrow (Saturday) morning. It’s an annual event that raises funds and awareness for men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer. Organizer Ray Beimers says prostate cancer doesn’t have to kill people.

He does admit men are terrible for not going to the doctor when they’re not feeling well.

Cost to enter a vehicle to show is 5 dollars, the event itself is free to attend for spectators, however they will gladly accept donations. Beimers says last year they brought in about 3300 dollars. The show runs from 10am until 3pm.
