A local business owner is $11,933 richer after winning this week’s Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation Catch the Ace draw.
Jamie Law was announced as the winner on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Foundation executive director Roger Martin says Law has been a longtime supporter of community initiatives, making the announcement especially rewarding.
The Ace of Spades was not revealed, meaning the progressive jackpot continues to grow.
Next week’s estimated jackpot is expected to exceed $325,000 if the Ace is found.
Catch the Ace is one of the foundation’s major fundraising initiatives, helping support equipment purchases and programs aimed at improving patient care at Pembroke Regional Hospital.
Martin says every ticket purchased contributes to local health care.
