A 17-year-old cyclist from Petawawa has suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision with a passenger vehicle Thursday night.
The Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police say the collision happened on Industrial Avenue at approximately 9:10 p.m. on Oct. 29, 2026.
The teenager was airlifted to a trauma centre in Ottawa for treatment.
The driver, who was the only person inside the vehicle, was not injured.
Police are continuing to investigate with assistance from an OPP collision reconstructionist and members of the force’s Technical Collision Investigation unit.
