A 20-year-old Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Township resident is facing several charges following a single-vehicle rollover collision on Quadeville Road.
The Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police say officers responded to the collision around 8:40 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, after it was reported by a passerby.
When officers arrived, the vehicle had been removed from the scene and the driver had left. Police later located both the driver, who was not seriously injured, and the vehicle.
A roadside screening device was used as part of the investigation, and the driver was taken to the detachment for further testing.
Spencer Holly faces charges of impaired operation by alcohol, impaired operation with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 milligrams or more, failing to report an accident, failing to remain at the scene of a collision and having a blood alcohol concentration above zero as a young driver.
Holly’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.
He was released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on Dec. 7.
The charges have not been proven in court.
