During this Labour Day holiday, keep in mind that there will be a few businesses closed for the day.
The Pembroke Mall will be open however today from 12-5pm. Walmart in Pembroke will also open.
All City of Pembroke offices will be closed for the holiday, as will all chartered banks.
Residents of the town are also being informed that the usual waste collection schedule is shifting one day forward this week to account for the holiday – meaning people whose garbage is usually picked up on Wednesday will need to wait till Thursday, trash normally taken on Thursday will be collected Friday, and so on.
The Beer Store and the LCBO will also be closed for the day.
