Red Gables Farm was founded in Pembroke just recently, providing high-quality, locally-raised chickens to people in and around the Ottawa Valley. Owner Andrew McLeese says he and his wife grew up in Beachburg, bought a 2-acre farm in 2022, renovated it and began operating it as a business last year. Since then, customers have already told him how much they love the flavor, texture and quality of the chicken he provides at the Pembroke Farmer’s Market every week and at other locations across the valley.
