Patricia Mary Wingle (nee O’Grady) passed away peacefully at Riverview Heights Retirement Home on Saturday July 4, 2026 at the age of 85 with her daughter by her side.
Patricia Wingle of Pembroke daughter of the late James O’Grady and Agatha Shields. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Wingle and loving mother of the late Michael, Donna and Darlene (Steven Travis). Cherished grandmother of Kate (Kevin Chillman), Emily, Sarah and Andrew and great-grandmother of Luke and Max.
Dear sister of Martina Dwyer (late Terry), Mary Beehler, Catherine, Gladys Thomas (late Kurl), Joseph (Sharon), John (Kathy) and Neil (Linda). Sister-in-law of Geraldine McCauley (Earl).
Predeceased by her brother Thomas (late Terry) and sisters-in-law Rita Zadow, Teresa Laporte and Marcella Lynch. Patricia is survived by many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to everyone at Riverview Heights, especially second floor nursing who took wonderful care during the long good-bye of our dear mom and grandma. Thank you to everyone from Bayshore Health for the wonderful care over the years and to Champlain Care and the Palliative team that were there to help make sure mom had everything she needed for care and comfort in her final months.
Relatives and friends may call at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke to share their memories of Patricia with her family during visitation on Thursday July 9 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Service in the Chapel at 12 noon followed by a luncheon and interment at St. Columba’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County or CHEO would be greatly appreciated by family.
