Thomas Andrew Holly
November 28, 1950 – January 3, 2026
With sadness yet with great hope in eternal life, the Holly family announces the peaceful passing of Thomas Andrew Holly after a brief illness at the age of 75. Mourned and loved by his wife and best friend of 53 years, Shirley (Tosh) and his beloved children Jennifer (Dennis Wren), Tyson (Rebecca), and George Ryan. Adored “Pa” to Jack and Holly Quinn, Connor and Charlotte Holly. Survived by his sister Sheila Millen (late Ken). Predeceased by his parents George and Lucy (Kelly) and his sister Marie (late Regis Benoit). Uncle Tom had a special place in the life of his nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces and the members of the Tosh family.
Visitation will take place at the Murphy Funeral Home 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke, Ontario on Friday, January 9 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered by his youngest son, Reverend George Ryan Holly, at the Church of St. Ann, Cormac, on Saturday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Holly Family plot of St. Ann Cemetery, Cormac.
The family extends gratitude to all who provided medical and pastoral care during Tom’s brief illness at Pembroke Regional Hospital, Ottawa Civic Hospital, and in an extraordinary way at Marianhill Hospice. Tom wanted to especially thank everyone who offered prayers for him as he made his way back to God.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Ann Parish, Cormac, or Marianhill Hospice, Pembroke.
