Get your disco attire ready! Petawawa is hosting the third annual Algonquin Trail Disco Run on June 15th to celebrate the Civic Centre’s 50th Anniversary.
Sponsored by Dog House Brewery and Hyska’s Independent Grocers, the event features a 3.2km Munchkin Run at 10:30am, along with 5.4km and 10km runs both starting at 9:00am. Registration begins at 7:30am at the Kinhut. Mayor Gary Service tells myFM how they got involved with this 70’s themed event.
Mayor Gary Service encourages everyone to have fun and enjoy the day. Medals will be awarded to top finishers, and participants will receive a Dog House Brewery beer glass, with a complimentary drink for those 19 and over.
All races start and finish at Murphy Road and Petawawa Boulevard, across from Kelsey’s Restaurant.
