This weekend, the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the OPP will join a traffic safety campaign across the province. From September 1 to September 4, 2023, UOV OPP officers will target the Big 4 causes of personal injury on the roads: distracted driving, aggressive driving, impaired driving and not wearing seat belts.
We want everyone to enjoy a safe and fun Labour Day weekend in the Upper Ottawa Valley. That’s why we will have more police officers on patrol to enforce the law and prevent accidents. Whether you are driving, biking, hiking or boating, please follow the rules and be responsible.
