A yearly fundraising gala will take residents across the globe in spirit this weekend.
The 29th annual Columbus House Gala is scheduled for Saturday, November 7th from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Germania Club in Pembroke.
Executive director Tina Belanger says this year’s gala has an “around the world” theme.
For the last five years, Belanger says her team has consistently raised roughly $50,000 for each event, and the goal is to match those numbers again this year.
Tickets cost $100. with food, wine and beer from a variety of different restaurants and vendors available to try.
A silent auction is also available at the event, featuring hockey tickets, a raffle for a chance to win a suitcase and travel voucher and much more.
Belanger says attendees are encouraged, but not required, to dress up in a way that matches the “around the world” theme for the event.
Tickets are available here.
