Residents of the city are also being informed that the usual waste collection schedule is shifting one day forward this week to account for the holiday – meaning people whose garbage is usually picked up on Monday will need to wait till Tuesday, trash normally taken on Tuesday will be collected Wednesday, and so on.
The Beer Store and the LCBO will also be closed for the day.
The Pembroke Mall will be open however today from 12-5pm. Walmart in Pembroke will also open.
There will be no mail delivery, and the post office in your community will be closed.
