In grief we announce the passing of William Halkett on Monday September 21, 2026 at the Pembroke Regional Hospital at the age of 85 years. Bill Halkett of Pembroke, beloved husband of Bernadette (Bernie) (nee Peplinskie). Loved father of Andrea Joyce (Ron), Douglas Halkett (Kim) of BC and Meaghan and loving grandfather to Malia Fast (Ali), Spencer Woods, Mitchell and Cole Halkett and John and great grandchild Jack. Son of the late Bill and Margaret (nee Greene) Halkett of Verdun Quebec.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius V Church, 510 Micksburg Road. Interment St. Pius V Cemetery. The family will be at the Church prior to the Mass to greet friends. A Reception to follow at the RCL Legion Cobden , 43A Main Street, Cobden ON. In memory of Bill donations to Bernadette McCann House would be appreciated.
