Rebecca ‘Becky’ Chaput
Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on July 19, 2026, at the age of 86 years. Becky Chaput (nee LaBelle) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Dorice Chaput. Cherished mother of Dianne and Deacon Adrien (Bernadette). Predeceased by her son Cyrille. Loving Mamère/Grandma to Curtis and Angela Lowe (Steve McDermott), Phillippe, Yvonne, Claude, and Jacques Chaput, and Mélanie Chaput (Edgar Esparza). Cherished Grand-mamère/G.G. to Qwynn and Falon, Tristan and Théodore. Dear sister of Patsy Dion (late Harry Nielsen) and Cecile Brazeau (late Raymond). Becky was a long-time dedicated member of the Cathedral Catholic Women’s League.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Becky with her family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 10:30 am, followed by interment at St. Columba’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Joseph Food Bank, The Grind-Pembroke, First Step Options or Renfrew County Right to Life, in memory of Becky, would be appreciated.
