Former Owner of Wilson’s Flower Shop and his family farm at Forester’s Falls
Peacefully at home, with his family by his side, on Tuesday July 14, 2026 at the age of 89 years. Carl Wilson of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Ruth Wilson (nee Mathieson). Loved and cherished Dad of Deborah Mackie (Ian), Manitoba, Diana Wilson (Brian Yourth), Golden Lake and Darlene Anderson (late Andy), Pembroke. Loving grandfather of Jason, Matthew , Michael and Cassandra (Steven) Mackie, Caroline Rose (Danton), Dawn (Tim), Laura, Stephaine and Andrew (Angie) Anderson and 10 great grandchildren. Brother of Glenn Wilson (late Loretta), and predeceased by sisters Shirley Martin (Tom) ,Shelda-Jean White (Roger) and brother James Wilson (late Mable).
The family would like to extend a grateful thank you to Access Care Health for the care and compassion shown to their father and grandfather during his illness.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Carl with his family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Saturday July 18, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Service in the Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment Beachburg Union Cemetery. In memory of Carl donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation or the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated by the family
