Irene Annie Kennedy
At the Pembroke Regional Hospital, with her family at her side, on Wednesday July 1, 2026 at the age of 80 years. Irene Kennedy (nee Klawitter) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Bill Kennedy. Loving mother to Bradley (Tammy), Jason (Tiffany), Tracy (Derek) and the late Steven. Loved grandmother to Tyson and Ophelia and great grandchildren Eva and Royce. Dear sister of Helen Brszyenski, Ruth Johnston, Ken Klawitter, Joan Schimmens, Gary Klawitter, Emma Rabishaw, Brian Klawitter and Donna Hiderman. Predeceased by sister Nancy Rasewych and brother Grant Klawitter. Irene will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late John and Hilda (nee Keller) Klawitter.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Irene with her family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Monday July 6, 2 -4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday July 7th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 307 Julien Street, Pembroke. Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
