At the Ottawa Heart Institute on Thursday, May 28, 2026, with her family by her side, Lois Robinson (née Heideman) of Westmeath, passed away at the age of 78 years.
Beloved wife of Bill Robinson. Cherished mother of Heidi Fraser (Chad) of Arnprior, and Katie Robinson (Jeff Dupuis) of Westmeath. Loving grandmother of Tyson Fraser.
Predeceased by her beloved son, Derek Robinson, by her parents, Alfred and Meta (née Lenser) Heideman, and by her brothers Orville and Harvey Heideman.
Lois will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Glenna Heideman, along with a loving network of nieces, nephews, and extended family members across both the Heideman and Robinson sides. Her many dear friends will also hold her memory close in their hearts.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Lois with her family during visitation at Murphy Funeral Home on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westmeath on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. A Private Family Interment will take place at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
In memory of Lois, donations to the PKD Foundation of Canada or the Our Lady of Grace Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
