School buses across the Ottawa Valley will not take any chances today as heavy snow threatens their afternoon routes.
The Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium has announced that bus service has been cancelled for all of Renfrew County today as Environment Canada calls for up to 10 centimetres of snow starting this afternoon.
A special weather statement from the agency notes that roads and walkways will likely be difficult to navigate during the snowfall, prompting commuters to give themselves extra time to make their destination and maintain a safe following distance from other vehicles.
