The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society of Renfrew County is preparing for a pair of fundraising events this weekend.
According to Community Relations Coordinator Heather Jobe, on Sunday, February 22nd, the animal shelter is having a nail-trim fundraising day in conjunction with one of its largest annual fundraising initiatives, Cupcake Day.
Jobe says the nail trims cost $20 each, with all proceeds going back to the Renfrew County Animal Centre.
Cupcakes will also be available at the event as part of the SPCA’s annual Cupcake Day fundraising campaign. According to the SPCA website, over $26,000 has already been raised as part of the program.
The event takes place on Sunday, February 22nd from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Petawawa PetValu location at 1011 Victoria Street.
