The Coldest Night of the Year Walk in support of The Grind is only a few short days away and Grind Executive Director Jerry Novack dropped by the myFM studios to give us an update.
The goal this year is $115,000 and being this close to that mark at this point leading up to the event is encouraging to Novack but he stresses that volunteers, walkers and donors are still needed in order to make this the huge success it continues to be annually. They are currently at the 35 mark for the number of sponsors and the goal this year is 40 so still plenty of time to reach out and make your mark on this years annual event.
Since it began, CNOY has expanded substantially, now bringing together more than 190 charities across Canada. The annual event remains a family-friendly fundraiser, inspiring communities to come together in support of people experiencing homelessness.
