Marguerite “Margo” Thérèse Tremblay passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 at the age of 90 years. Margo Tremblay (nee Lapointe) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Paul Emile Tremblay. Loving mother of Rene (Shawnessee), Gina and Pierre (Rhonda) Tremblay. Caring grandmother of Nicole and great-grandmother of Darcylee, Faith and Parker. Dear sister of Monique (late Ronald), André (Claire), Esther (late Denis) and Daniel (Carole). Predeceased by parents Jean Baptiste and Roseanna Lapointe (nee Boucher) and by siblings Françoise (late Raymond) and Rodrigue (Andrée).
Margo was one of the pillars of the Francophone Community in Pembroke and a long time member of “La Fédération des femmes canadiennes françaises”. A special thank you to the staff of the Pembroke Regional Hospital for their compassion and care towards Mom.
Respecting Margo’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Jean Baptiste Church on Friday, November 1st, 2024 at 11 a.m. Interment of Ashes in St. Columba’s Cemetery. Arrangements by the Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke.
