Cam Hicklin scored twice and Sutton Murray had three assists as the Pembroke Lumber Kings downed the Navan Grads 5-1 on home ice to even their CCHL quarter-final series at two wins apiece. The Kings outshot the Grads 40-29 and picked up a powerplay goal as they reduced the series to a best of three with game five scheduled for Good Friday in Navan and game six on Easter Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Pembroke Memorial Centre.
Kyle Cameron, Alex Fortier and Eric Barnard also scored for the Kings who seemed to have found their stride in the post-season, after battling a short bench down the stretch as the club didn’t clinch a playoff spot until the final day of the regular season. Navan finished as the top seed in the league.
