In preparation for Taylor Swift’s unique concert experience, husband and wife duo, Kevin Marshall and Kathy Lepine, discussed the distinctive nature of this event as owners of theatres across the Ottawa Valley.
Kevin explained to myFM news that it’s a four-week commitment with varying show schedules, unlike anything they’ve seen before.
Despite its novelty, they are uncertain if any future acts can replicate Taylor Swift’s level of popularity.
Kathy highlighted the enthusiasm of fans, mentioning how people are expected to dress up, wear Swift-related merchandise, and get into the concert spirit. Cowboy hats and tattoos of the number 13 are expected to be prevalent.
Kevin and Kathy both acknowledged the massive scale and impact of Taylor Swift’s concerts, even though they may not personally identify as Swifties.
The event is anticipated to be a unique and successful experience for O’Brien theaters in Renfrew and Arnprior.
There are 80 physical tickets available for all 23 shows, and 150 available online through TicketScene. there are 5290 tickets across their full 4 week run in each theatre.
