The MRC of Pontiac made a new senior staff hire this week.
Guilliame Boudreau was voted in as the new Director of Economic Development for the municipality by the Regional Council of Mayors on Tuesday, November 1st.
Pontiac Warden Jane Toller tells myFM that Boudreau was most recently the Assistant-Director for the CEPEO, the French language public school board for much of Eastern Ontario.
She says that he brings more than 14 years of experience in human resources, finance and project development with him into his new role with the municipality.
According to Toller, that experience matched with the MBA in Business Administration he’s currently undertaking at the Université du Québec en Outaouais make him great fit for their team.
Boudreau is expected to begin the job later this month.
