The Downtown Summer Street Party will take over Albert Street in Pembroke this weekend. Bethea Summers, the Executive Director of the Pembroke Business Improvement Area, says the event runs from 11:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday, July 23rd. There will be live music, The Falcons Veteran motorcycle club show and shine, food, games and vendors.
Summers says the events and live entertainment will be free to attend with freezies and bottles of water handed out as temperatures are expected to be back up in the mid 30’s with the humidex.
As part of the Downtown Summer Street Party, many businesses in Pembroke will also be setting up sidewalk sales in the downtown core. Summers says it’s great to host these types of events.
Albert Street will be closed during the Downtown Summer Street Party on Saturday.
