Tickets for the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation Catch the Ace lottery will not be available this week at the drive-thru location on Pembroke Street East.
This comes after a break-in at the site sometime between June 21st and June 25th.
The hospital foundation says in addition to some minor damage to the mobile site, all Catch the Ace equipment at that location was taken including a tablet, a printer, a debit machine and a small amount of cash.
Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation Roger Martin says theft from a local charity hurts the community at large.
Martin says the specialized equipment that was stolen can be returned, no questions asked, to the hospital Emergency Department entrance.
Those wishing to purchase Catch the Ace tickets can do so online or at other cash sale locations including the Holiday Inn Express (Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm), Cork Culture, Beyond Nutrition (Petawawa), The Shoe Lounge and Mavens Beauty Collab (downtown Pembroke).
Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Pembroke Detachment of the OPP at 613-732-3332 or call Pembroke/Renfrew County Crime Stoppers at 613-735-8477.
