Visitor information centres are getting ready to reopen in Renfrew County.
An update was provided to the County of Renfrew Development and Property Committee on Tuesday afternoon (June 14th, 2022).
Training for staff will be conducted virtually June 21st to the 23rd and again on June 28th and 29th.
Visitor information centres are located in eight municipalities across Renfrew County and the City of Pembroke including:
• Arnprior (Arnprior and District Museum & Quality Inn Hotel)
• Eganville Visitor Information Centre
• Killaloe Visitor Information Centre
• Barry’s Bay Railway Station
• Pembroke (Best Western Pembroke Inn, Champlain Trail Museum & OVTA/County of Renfrew)
• Petawawa Civic Centre
• Renfrew (Renfrew Chamber of Commerce & Renfrew Visitor Information Centre)
• Cobden Visitor Information Centre
A familiarization tour for staff at visitor information centres will take place June 27th and June 30th.
