The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is reporting 20 local residents are hospitalized with COVID-19 including two in the intensive care unit (ICU).
According to the detailed case summary released by the RCDHU this afternoon (January 27th, 2022), there are another 253 people isolating at home with COVID-19.
The RCDHU is reporting a COVID-19 outbreak at the 3rd floor surgical unit at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.
COVID-19 outbreaks are being monitored at Valley Manor long-term care home in Barry’s Bay, Bonnechere Manor long-term care home in Renfrew, the Grove long-term care home in Arnprior, Riverview Heights retirement home in Pembroke, Country Haven Retirement Home in Beachburg, the Carefor Civic Complex and Madonna House.
Upper Ottawa Valley Community Living and Renfrew South Community Living are also monitoring COVID-19 outbreaks in multiple locations.
The COVID-19 outbreaks at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital and Madawaska Valley Association for Community Living have been declared over.
