Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke Member of Parliament Cheryl Gallant is celebrating the achievement of local resident Del O’Brien, prompted by his recent nomination to the Ontario Agricultural Hall of Fame, and his possible consideration for a new role.
Gallant spoke virtually in the House of Commons.
The local MP summarized O’Brien’s Agricultural experience- including his work on many a Drainage Tribunal.
While retired, Gallant would like to see Del O’Brien active in a new role the Feds are thinking of creating.
The proposed Canada Water Agency is receiving opposition from certain of the Provinces who see it as an infringement on their jurisdictions.
