Ontario is reporting 1,780 new cases of COVID-19 in the province today and 25 more deaths related to the virus.
Ottawa reported 45 new cases with one death and the Renfrew County and District Health Unit did not report any new cases today (Friday, December 4th).
Both active cases in Renfrew County are currently in self-isolation.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says that the spread of COVID-19 has “hit a critical point” and is asking Ontarians to wear a mask and remain physically distant from each other.
Province wide 1,553 more cases were listed as resolved with over 56,000 tests completed.
