Petawawa council has started meeting in person again. On Monday (August 10th), five out of six councillors were in attendance along with the mayor and several staff members.
Petawawa Mayor Bob Sweet says he’s glad to be back in the council chambers.
The Mayor is proud of the work local residents have done keep COVID-19 out of our communities.
Petawawa council halted meetings mid-March due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in person meetings last week (August 4th).
Town councillors were all spaced out and wearing masks as per the guidelines from the Renfrew County and District Health Unit.
