2020 is a milestone year for Carefor in Pembroke. This year marks the 100th anniversary for the health and community service organization. Carefor plans to hold a 6-month long celebration to mark the occasion. In addtion, the City of Pembroke has declared the week of March 9th as Carefor Week. The local organization on Cecelia Street offers a variety of programs such as the Companion Care, Forzen Meals, and Going-Home. In addition they host a residential service program which provides housing for 92 people at the Carefor Civic Complex and 87 people at Carefor on Mackay Centre.
