Taste of the Valley continues this weekend. It’s an opportunity for producers, crafters and artisans in the Valley to showcase what they have to offer. David Wybou, Business Development Officer with the County of Renfrew says any town or township can apply to host a Taste event, but there is a process before a municipality is given the stamp of approval.
He adds if you’re just starting your business, Taste of the Valley is a great trial run to see if there’s a market for what you have to offer.
There are two events this weekend at opposite ends of the Valley. Deep River’s Taste of the Valley kicks off Saturday morning at 9am at the Fire Department on Deep River Road and Arnprior’s takes over John Street from 9am until 2pm Sunday. There are often on-site vendors who sell food as well, so you don’t have to worry about lunch.
