Two Pembroke residents and a minor from Oshawa are facing charges following a drug bust on August 15. The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Community Street Crime Unit, along with the Emergency Response Team, searched a Pembroke home on Lea Street. Police say they seized drugs, cash and stolen property. The 17 year old, who cannot be named under the Young Offender Act, and 34 year old Ashley Dawn Martell, each face charges of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under 5000 dollars as well as property obtained by crime over 5000 dollars. In addition the teen is facing an obstruction charge. Meanwhile, a 32 year old man is facing a single charge of possession of cocaine. All three return to court in October.
