NATSIS TO RETURN TO COURT TO APPEAL GUILTY RULING
11/13/2017 8:13:14 AM

She's appealing her conviction and sentencing. Pembroke Dentist Dr. Christy Natsis was found guilty of dangerous driving causing death and impaired driving causing death and sentenced to five years after the vehicle she was driving crossed the centre line, struck another vehicle and killed Bryan Casey. The accident occurred more than 6 years ago and her trial was riddled with controversy and public frustration. Her breathalyzer evidence were deemed inadmissable and her rights to counsel were ruled to have been violated. However, the judge ruled her guilty, but Natsis is now appealing that conviction. She'll return to court tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday.
