EGANVILLE SIGNS TO CARRY FORESTRY MESSAGE
10/11/2017 3:07:16 PM

The forest industry is very prominent in Renfrew County. Dave Lemkay is the vice chairman of the board for the Algonquin Forestry Authority, and he was at the most recent Bonnechere Valley Township committee meeting asking to put up a message on the back of the welcome to Eganville signs. Lemkay explains the purpose of the campaign.

Council approved the signs, and says they'll not only fill a blank space on the signs for visitors leaving Eganville, but spreads a good message in a township with this industry in its forefront.
