Parks and Recreation staff in Petawawa have been busy the last two months upgrading the town's parkland. In total, there were seven different areas that had some major work done, a lot of which focused on making the town more accesible. Centenniel Park, Civic Centre Park and Civitan Play Land got accessible washrooms and picnic areas, among other upgrades like new gardens and signage. Fish Hatchery Park, Petawawa Point, Pineridge Park and the entrance to the library has also had work done in the last couple months.
